MEMBERSHIP

The Membership Committee welcomes new members, guides them through the benefits of WBIA, and helps them connect with the committee or programs that best fit their interests. The committee reviews applications, coordinates welcome communications, assists with onboarding, and engages with members to ensure their needs are met. By fostering connections and encouraging renewals and upgrades, the Membership Committee plays a key role in strengthening WBIA’s network and ensuring members gain the most value from their involvement.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Sound infrastructure improves business. Safe roads and bridges, adequate and proper drainage, clear waterways, levee protection and coastal restoration are keys to economic growth. WBIA maintains relationships with US Coast Guard, Regional Planning Commission, LaDOTD, US Army Corps of Engineers and local regulatory officials. Planning takes time.
