The Westbank Business & Industry Association invites members and community leaders to an important discussion on the ongoing insurance challenges affecting Louisiana’s real estate market, business community, and economic stability.
The program will begin with local experts serving the Westbank region, including Bill Bubrig, insurance agent, and Courtney Kattengell, real estate agent, who will share first-hand perspectives on how insurance issues are impacting property owners, homeowners, and businesses in our area. Their insights will highlight the real-world effects of market instability and the urgent need for reform.
Following the local insights, we are honored to welcome Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple, who will provide a presentation on current reforms underway and the optimistic outlook for positive change in Louisiana’s insurance landscape. Commissioner Temple will discuss recent policy initiatives, legislative actions, and efforts to promote a more stable and sustainable insurance market across the state.
Senate Insurance Chair, Kirk Talbot, also will be in attendance as we highlight both the progress made and the promising outlook for positive change, emphasizing collaboration among policymakers, industry professionals, and business leaders to ensure a stronger future for Louisiana.
